How to build PNGs with default sizes?
  1. Get OMake.
  2. Get Inkscape.
  3. Make sure that both OMake and Inkscape are in the search path of your system.
  4. Check out the latest revision of the Toolbar Icons library from the SVN repository. It is sufficient to check out the subtree in the trunk folder, but you should not check out only a subtree below trunk.
  5. Switch to one of the directories within your working copy of the repository and invoke omake. The resulting PNG files will be placed in a new subdirectory named png in the trunk folder. Icons will be rendered as 16 * 16, 24 * 24 and 32 * 32 pixels PNGs.
How to build PNGs with a custom size?
  1. Get OMake.
  2. Get Inkscape.
  3. Make sure that both OMake and Inkscape are in the search path of your system.
  4. Check out the latest revision of the Toolbar Icons library from the SVN repository. It is sufficient to check out the subtree in the trunk folder, but you should not check out only a subtree below trunk.
  5. Switch to one of the directories within your working copy of the repository and invoke omake png#, where # is the desired width and height of the icons. This can be any number between 10 and 64 (both inclusive), 128 or 256. The resulting PNG files will be placed in a new subdirectory named png in the trunk folder.
How to build the release version?
  1. Get OMake.
  2. Get Inkscape.
  3. Get ImageMagick.
  4. Make sure that both OMake and Inkscape are in the search path of your system.
  5. Check out the latest revision of the Toolbar Icons library from the SVN repository. It is sufficient to check out the subtree in the trunk folder, but you should not check out only a subtree below trunk.
  6. Switch to one of the directories within your working copy of the repository and invoke omake release. The resulting PNG files will be placed in a new subdirectory named png in the trunk folder. tar.gz files will be placed in a new subidrectory named targz in the trunk folder. A PNG file with all icons will be crated in a new subdirectory named all, also in the trunk folder. Icons will be rendered as 16 * 16, 24 * 24, 32 * 32 and 256 * 256 pixels PNGs.
How to build PNGs with an unsupported size?
There hardly are any unsupported sizes for vector graphics.
  1. Get OMake.
  2. Get Inkscape.
  3. Make sure that both OMake and Inkscape are in the search path of your system.
  4. Check out the latest revision of the Toolbar Icons library from the SVN repository. It is sufficient to check out the subtree in the trunk folder, but you should not check out only a subtree below trunk.
  5. Open /trunk/OMake/ToolbarIcons.om and look for lines 32 to 34, which should look like this:
    PICSIZES[] +=
      128
      256
    
    Add the desired width and height below 256, with the same indentation.
  6. Switch to one of the directories within your working copy of the repository and invoke omake png#, where # is the desired width and height of the icons. The resulting PNG files will be placed in a new subdirectory named png in the trunk folder.
